Becoming a software engineer wasn’t a straight path.
I messed up my university degree by making bad decisions in my final year.
When I finally got an opportunity to become a software engineer I spent years feeling like I was always one step behind, with so much to learn and being overwhelmed by what I didn’t know and unsure how to catch up.
What got me through wasn’t easy, it was learning how to think like a real engineer, building proof before I felt ready, and finding the right mentors and allies along the way.
Now I help others do the same with a clear path I wish I had when I started.
